Illustrating children’s picture books has always been a quiet dream of mine, and I’m so happy it has come true.

“A Slimy Story”,

children’s picture book

This picture book came to life through a beautiful collaboration with author Laura Dobutović Ravlić. It marks our second project together, completed over the course of three months. I created all interior illustrations, the cover artwork, and handled the overall book design and text layout.

This picture book tells the story of a boy named Natko who, because of his messiness, is magically turned into a snail by a fairy — a creature that carries its home on its back. Through a series of adventures, Natko learns about the importance of respecting his home and the values connected to it.

The story is intended for preschool and early school-age children, helping young readers understand the importance of rules, tidiness, and shared responsibility for the home and family.

“Prince Noah”,

children’s picture book

This picture book marked my first collaboration with author Laura Dobutović Ravlić. It was truly a baptism by fire, as many aspects of the process were new to us, which made the journey longer but incredibly valuable. I was responsible for the complete design, text layout, all illustrations, and the cover — my first time handling a project in its entirety. We are both very proud of this first project we brought to life together.

This fairy-tale story follows a boy named Noah on a quest to find a dragon. Noah is a prince, and every prince must defeat at least one dragon in order to grow into a true king. However, his plan does not unfold as expected, as he meets a charming and peaceful creature in the forest instead.

This warm and engaging story also gently touches on feelings of being overlooked after the arrival of younger siblings.
